Top marks Graham. At first I was wondering how one got a light source to radiate shadows but then I looked closer and discovered they were embedded. A clever juxtaposition, that.

In discussions of dodge/burn or effective use of light and shadows in b&w images, I often suggest people view your work, Graham. You continue to inspire!

Wow, those long shadows and lines give this photo a really surreal look. I think it is very effective.

Are you sure you're not a lot taller than I thought you were? Or was it that harbour wall that you never leave home without? You've almost convinced me to start using one myself. Is there a travel-friendly version available?

The light, the lines, the angles, the subject, the shadows--what’s not to like?

The mystery of the radiating "shadows" is revealed. Were The Drifters a residency act?
