Shot at Ocean Shores, Washington a few nights ago.
Had a nice sunset a few nights ago and was trying out my new Rokinon 16 mm. First time I really did so, wasn't to sure about nailing the focus. Was a beautiful evening though.. :)
Unless you pixel peep, the focus being a bit off isn't a detractor to the overall shot in my opinion. I think it's a fantastic shot with some very dramatic colors! Excellent work.
Beautiful colors. Couple of suggestions for composition next time: I would prefer to know what the foreground object is. Here It looks like a person, but is it? Clone out the object along the right edge. Can you answer why you included it?
Beautiful color very nice

Judging by the footprints leading to the object in the center of the photo, yes, it is a person. The object along the right edge appears to be a cloud...
Lovely colors. I think I'd have cropped a bit differently, though... take a bit off the top and bottom, since those areas are very dark with little detail, maybe crop some off the right side to get rid of the cloud (it *is* a bit distracting), so the person isn't smack in the center of the photo... having him/her off to one side a bit would make for a more pleasing composition, IMHO, and still leave the birds on the left, which the person appears to be looking at or photographing...
You're right, I should have, didn't even think of it. I'm a pretty new photographer so pardon me for my obvious mistakes. :) The clam dig was about over, so I asked this gentleman if he
wouldn't mind doing it for another minute or so so I could get a shot of him doing it for a photo. :) He was happy to oblige. Ask far as cropping something out, i just didn't think of it. :)
I'll repost it with the suggestions you guys have been kind enough to share with me.
:)
I don't find the cloud distracting; rather I think it adds to the image and provides some balance. The focus is a little off, but I'm not sure that matters. It's not about the person. It's about the IDEA of the person, and OOF sort of enhances that. The colours are spectacular.

footprints leading to it and humanoid in appearance, I'm guessing maybe Sasquatch?
Beautiful colors, just a bit out of focus in the download. Perhaps a tripod might help. Thanks for sharing.
