Be sure to look in the bowl before you sit on the bowl

Huey, what laxative did you take??

I recall an image in the movie Exidos where some terrorists put a stick of dynamite in the pool below the line of toilets. The camera caught the toilet parts flying up. Some things like toilets are sacred and should not be photographed so as to make us anxious ... such anxiety will cause constipation.

My wife is paranoid about snakes coming up in the toilet, and will never allow the lid of the toilet to be left up. "But I like snakes" doesn't help...

And look before flushing, you may have dropped your wallet.

I saw on a bathroom wall a gentle reminder to all of us gents. "Our aim is to keep this bathroom clean. Your aim will help - Stand Closer - it's shorter than you think!"

By the markings on the skin, that snake looks like a Python. They don't mind water but prefer dry or moist areas.

Isn't the pattern too regular to be a python?

My money's on a diamond back rattle snake.

That's possible. The photograph is too dark to truly ascertain the species. But diamond back rattlesnake are not as common in households. Needless to say, either isn't a welcome pet like my Labrador Dalmation mixed rescue dog.

When I was a kid we had "Red Rattlers" in Melbourne Australia.
They are extinct now.

A long gone "Red Rattler"... this one has sliding doors.
I remember the even older version that had swinging doors
traveled the Frankston line more times than I can remember:

It is a Diamondback Rattle Snake. Note the triangular head and the diamond pattern on the back.

Yep! It's a Diamond Back Rattle Snake. I'll give you that. How it ended up in someone's toilet is beyond me? I'm inclined to believe it was someone else's illegal pet that escaped. We don't see too many up here in our backyards in New York.
