Recently on my Facebook account.
I've been getting a lot of photographic stuff on my Facebook account. Stuff like instruction, improve my picture taking etc... Two have peaked my interest; 1. Pluto trigger camera remote and 2.something called Arsenal, a system that helps improve picture taking. Does anyone know any more about these things they sure look like very interesting developments. They somewhat expense, over $125.00. Just very curious if anyone has further info about these things.
Also I saw an ad for Canon sponsored RAISE. It is free and looks very similar to Photsy a web site I occasionally visit. Does anyone know about RAISE?
I've been creeping the prom pics in my feed.

Arsenal has been discussed a hundred times on this forum, nobody likes it! RAISE has been around for about a whole year, not bad!
I thought it was something new I will research here on UHH further, thanks
I agree with you about Arsenal. it is worthless, and there is NO support. Battery life is so weak that you really have no use before the battery is dead. Every picture I was able to take (before the battery died) was blue-ish, because their programing isn't accurate. Don't waste the money on this piece of junk.

i own a pluto trigger and I really like it a lot. you can control your camera through your phone. One of my cameras doesn't allow for a delay start when bracketing. the pluto trigger allows me to put my camera on a tripod and start the bracketing process without touching the shutter button and possibly causing camera shake.
Arsenal came out a few years ago and the reviews that I’ve seen aren’t all that favorable.

Full disclosure... I’ve never tried or used RAISE, but in the Android Play Store, it’s rating is 2.8/5.0 by the 10 people who’ve bothered to post. Biggest complaint is that may be ready for prime time. Why not just give it a try?
I finally Googled the Arsenal after only seeing the name on UHH many times. It seems to be offering a lot of automation, algorithms, "thinking for you" crap, while saying it leaves the final decisions up to your camera and you. So, what's the point? Looks like a patent medicine fraud. Reading some of the many reviews and bitches by people who bought in, sounds like something to steer far away from.
It's 'Snake Oil'. I don't think there is any gadget out there that will improve on your photography skills.
I have used the pluto for water droplet and lightning shots it was the first time I had ever captured lightning and had tried a lot as said above it won't improve your photography skills but it can help.
