An easy one. This is a beetle in the family Chrysomelidae. The catch all beetle family.
It feeds on locust as a leaf miner as a larva. And on legumes, maple, and a few other trees as an adult.
The name? Baliosis ruber.

I frequently find these small beetles on Linden leaves. They have a very interesting texture.
That is a beautifully patterned and coloured Hoverfly. I would be walking on air to find one like it. The last image shows how skilled you are at macro photography.
