On my desktop computer I created a Collection of images from my trip to Tanzania, about 500 images. I then use the LR slide show feature and added music. I like the results.
Now, I want to be able to run the show on my 55" TV, but my desktop is upstairs in another room. Is there a way I can move the slideshow to my laptop (LR is also installed on my Laptop)?
I know I could export all the images to the laptop, import to LR and recreate the slideshow. I am just curious if there is an easier approach.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Apple desktop and Apple Laptop?
Do you have a smart TV that you can plug a thumb drive in?
You could compile/export it to a .PDF, JPEG or .MP4. You can put that on a card or USB, and your TV probably has a port and can play one of those. You could cast it from the desktop, or the compiled show from a laptop, using Chromecast.
Also, an AppleTV would do much of this, simply, but it sounds like yer not using a Mac.
Thanks for the suggestions. I forgot to include my computers are both Windows 10 machines. I will explore your suggestions.

I do exactly the same thing using a Google Chromecast dongle. You can mirror anything that is on a phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer. You don't need a smart TV or anything else, and it's wireless.
You could also directly connect a device with the slideshow on it using a second HDMI port on the TV if it has one, then use the correct cable from your computer to the HDMI on the TV - but after having done that for a number of years, the Chromecast is a far more elegant and reliable solution.
You can also use the Chromecast to watch movies on YouTube, Netflix or anything that shows on your computer display.
Chromecast and a free program called Plex Media Server

I am interested in doing this. Several of the replies state that all you need is a Chromecast. You also reference Plex Media Server. What does the Plex program accomplish that you cannot do with just the Chromecast?
Thanks for the export suggestion. I am doing an export now.
