I like the contrasts. Prefer the b/w. No fence in the way. Highlighting clouds would further enhance a nostalgic landscape. Thanks for sharing!

All it needs is a bit of paint and some throw pillows (re: "Young Doctor Frankenstein"). I like the B&W but you could possibly try the image in sepia for more of a vintage feel.

Nice shots! But if I may, the angle at which the second photo was taken should have been changed a bit. The chimney and the background tree are competing for the same space. A slightly different angle may have improved balance of the photo. Otherwise, a great subject to go back to and explore further!
