David, the 70-300 VR is a f4.5-5.6 lens. I am surprised you did not see it in the picture I posted.

James, I bought the lens from a professional who hardly used it a couple of times and decided it was not for him. The lens, if memory does not fail could be about 4-5 years old. It is in excellent + condition and like new. I am using the 80-400 VR more often so I decided to sell it.
The lens is AF-S and VR is incorporated.
