I normally start with monitor calibration as well as ensuring I have the proper printer driver before I attempt anything like what you have done here. This can certainly take you from a ho hum photo on paper to that print you were after.
Thanks for the critique Dave! Much appreciated! But I don't have a printer and send them out to be printed! They come back perfect 99% of the time. It's cheaper in terms of time and money than buying all that ink!
