Go to Canon website and download all the manuals including the one for WiFi. Read them. It works very easy on my 6D mkii. And should on your 5D MK Iv

Probably but that does not excuse one from RT*M. Both are recommended for getting maximum use from a new Camera.

But if what you want to do is shoot pics then put it on M, Fix the ISO and WB and go shooting. Never a bad place to start. You can learn about the other features like intervalometer, bracketing, metering, et. Al. in due time.

Most of all have fun.

(1) Remove the camera memory card from the camera
(2) Plug it into the iPad, using the appropriate adaptor
(3) Use iOS to copy the files from the card to the iPad (Photos -> Import)

No wires required. :)

No wires? Really? The connection between the "appropriate connector" and the iPad? -- it's not just condensed air in the form of metallics.

My manual was ok. At the time I wanted to do wireless transfer I figured it was covered in the manual so I looked it up and followed the procedure. I didn’t want to spend the time looking through the many tutorials on the net. But yes I’m sure there are good tutorials. Probably on Canons website too.
