I'll be in Santa Fe October 12th-20th to shoot all of New Mexico and ride in the Balloon Festival with my best buddies at ANPAT12. Nikonians.org -- check it out-- if you qualify (lol).
You do, no matter what you shoot with. We have 400,000 members but only ~30 will be there from around the world. For me, it defines my year in photography.

A Photo Buddy that sounds like a good idea. How about an international Buddy System, where two photographers can buddy up and keep in regular contact with each other. They can swap pics, pick each other brains talk equipment, all sorts. I live in Scotland UK, I would like to have a Photo Buddy in the States as I have visited there several times. Once on an exchange with the US Air force. What do you think, would you be interested.
Cheers Brian

Ahh fond memories for when I lived over there for 6 months

Good luck with shooting all of New Mexico in 8 days....I have lived in Santa Fe for over twenty years and haven't even been to parts of New Mexico yet much less shot it all. Enjoy the balloon fiesta. It's a great event! With luck you might be able to get some ofmthenfall foliage, too.

Sign up for a photowalk. I've been on two and am signed up for this year's as well - found others on both of them looking for similar companions.

Just did. Thanks for the info.

That would be the Kelby walk, yes? I have been on this for several years and the places can fill up mighty quick, even in this country....

Yes. I was on the walk in Paris in 2010 and led the walk in Fargo in 2011.

Was there anything worth photographing in Paris? :-D

Hi all, I would dearly love to be your Photo Buddy. I am being inundated with PM's asking me to be a photo buddy with all of them. I have accepted a beginner as my Buddy. so I can pass what knowledge I have on to them. Please if you want to by all means keep in contact with me as often as you wish. I love the idea of hands across the ocean. With the web it's like you are neighbors, rather than thousands of miles away.
Cheers for now. Brian

Brian, Charryl and Sidney;

Can we form a photo group either on Yahoo group or Gmail?
That way we can share photos and communicate well?
