I have a Fuji XT-20 and love it. It does have a lot of bells and whistles but I still like the camera.

Thank you, Ed Chu, for your click bait post. I have owned and used a variety of Fuji cameras with great pleasure over the past 3-4 years. Any that I have sold, have been sold due to my own increasingly faltering health. I currently own three, and will sell two of them based on a recent diagnosis of terminal cancer. When I finally die, the last one will be donated to a good friend.

I was saddened to read your post. So sorry about your diagnosis.

I own a Fuji X100F. I bought it almost as a lark, but I absolutely love it. It has caused me to use my Nikons & Sony less and less. I am seriously thinking about unloading all of my Nikon & Sony gear (Nikon D2X, D3200 & D810 with bunches of lenses & accessories, Sony RX100 Mk III) and going with the Fuji GFX50R.

I use my Fuji FinePix S8200 as my knock-about camera. It's light and has taken many memorable photos.

When I decided to get back into doing some photography I researched and looked into a lot of cameras and lenses now available. I shot only 35mm film 50 years ago and loved that experience. Digital made me very anxious.
After going to all the camera shops in and around Sacramento and holding dozens of cameras I went way over budget and sprung for a Fuji X-T3 6 months ago. Love it. Put a few Fuji cameras in your hands-rent a couple and shoot for a couple of days. I would trade mine for anything.
It came with a 18-55 “kit “ lens that is superb. Go look and feel them today.
Best of luck. You cannot go wrong.

I continuously read about how good the Fuji X-T series is; I am not sure I have really ever seen an article in UHH posted by a reader asking questions about the use of Fuji cameras, nor has anyone really ever alluded to owning one and commenting on how good it is ( there may have been an occasional article I don't recall seeing )

Does anyone in UHH land admit to owning / using Fuji ?

Yes, I have the X-T1 and the X-T2. I converted from Canon almost 2 years ago. They are great cameras however most new cameras are very good so it really comes down to what you enjoy shooting with.

Add my two cents here. Sold all my Sony gear, lenses included. Purchased an X-E3 with 23mm f:2 WR prime. Added a 12mm, a 50mm, and the 5-45 zoom for walk around. Love the set. Reminds me of and handles like the Leica M2 I lived with during the film days. Big pluses for me are the Fuji film simulations, Bluetooth transfer to Tablet and Phone, and the Q menu which some actually complain about. Can’t please everyone. But I am a fan for life. Looking at an X-T3 body next .

Basically we Fujifilm XT users are a happy bunch and don't have a lot to complain about so you won't see as many posts from us on the cameras.

I also love my Fugi Xe2 and x 30-they seem as close to Leica in sharpness but one needs to set them up to match Velvia in the settings to match the color of nikon and Canon-I feel-Even the 18 55 basic lens is great-all tFuji lenses are very spectacular-in my findings..

I don't know if your asking about the X-T series or Fuji cameras in general. I do know the X-T series cameras are made the way the way cameras are supposed to be made, all metal, even the dials are made out of metal.

I have a Fuji X-t20 and an X-pro2. I sold off all of my Nikon equipment and moved completely to Fuji. The images quality is amazing. the film simulations are gorgeous. I shoot in RAW plus jpeg. In many, many cases, the out-of-camera jpegs are superior to RAW files many photographers edit and publish. As an old film photographer, I appreciate the ergonomics of the Fuji cameras, including their use of manual dials. The less I have to delve into menu systems, the better. I have been a photographer for many years, and have photographed more weddings and Senior Portraits than I care to remember using film cameras. After shooting with Fuji for the past 2 years, I love using them. Fuji lenses are tack sharp and modestly priced. Overall, I wouldn't shoot with anything else today. Fuji all the way. There are, of course, many detractors with many differing opinions, and they are certainly entitled to their personal and professional views. Those of us who are old enough to have used film professionally each had our personal favorite films, and it is no different with digital equipment. Use what works for you. Fuji meets my needs on many levels, and using the Fuji cameras brought a sense of joy back to my photography.

I allude to owning Fuji all the time. I own An X-T3, X-Pro2, X100S and an X-T10 (converted for IR). I have also owned, in the past, an X-Pro1, an X-E1, an X-E2, and an X-T1. I also own: 9 Fujinon XF lenses and 1 Fujinon XC lens.

I love the Fujifilm X Series system. The XF lenses are of top quality, all metal and glass. They are sharp, with good contrast, and very low aberrations. I love the camera’s unique film simulation and configurable grain emulation. Their image sensors have a unique pseudo-random Pixel pattern, that completely negates moire, without needing a low pass filter.

They have many innovations. What first attracted me to Fujifilm cameras, was the ability to select between an electronic viewfinder and optical viewfinder in the X100 and X-Pro series cameras.
