Lassen peaked out for me after this freak August storm I almost left because it was raining so intensely but the storm broke in time to catch some light during sunset just what I needed for the first images with this camera

Nice compositions, Karno. And, I don't mean to be critical here, but, they seem a bit dark to me. As an experiment, you might try to brighten the dark portions in LR. (Or, your PP of choice).

Did you read His lead in? These were taken at dusk, just before darkness. If you are taking images at dusk why brighten them up, kind of defeats the purpose.
