See if you like my cropping of your second photo. I tried to use an 'old standard' "Rule of Thirds". I also like the single THREE items (mail box, bike, and flag).

I absolutly LOVE the first one! Might have centered the first 2 posts a tad more, but it still looks awesome!

The first one looks very artistic...it would make a nice wall hanging! Love your subject matter on the 2nd shot, but the front tire on the left-hand bike looks a little out of focus...maybe something that was intentional?
