Ok folks. Lets see them. Starting Friday and ending Sunday. This will give you a chance to get a shot if it is cloudy Saturday. We had a great turn out for the Blue Moon. I am still going through the pictures trying to pick out the top 10, but work has been nuts. But I will get it done and make sure I get it posted.:) So lets have fun!! Post your shots, good, bad or just want help trying.

Yes! I know it's doing a fly by daily and probably just getting behind the earth to cool down :-)

My picture was taken with a Nikon D5100 body and 55x300 lens.
Resolution 300x300
2012:07:28 20:56:58
Exp 1/320
F# 5.6
manual control
ISO 100
Spot metering
*** taken at 300mm (focal length in 35mm = 450mm)
white balance: incandescent

Others may be interested..... I like to use a freeware that's called Stellarium. With this freeware I can tell what the other bright spots around the moon are. All that is needed is an understanding of the time that the picture was taken and where it's taken from.
