The early, excessive rains? The maturity of our butterfly bush? I have no idea why, but there is a huge bumper crop of butterflies in our yard!

Love these. I will just have to enjoy your pics because I didn't get a single butterfly picture this year.

They must all be in my yard! I have never seen so many. Thank you.

The butterflies have been few and far between at our house as well. They are wonderful creatures.

We have many in western Mass., especially monarchs. Each morning we find more than a dozen or so.

The images look great when opened. You might want to revisit your workflow as you're not creating sRGB for the colorspace in your images posted.

I've seen this stated many times by you and others and assume it's true. Linda has also made that point to me on a couple of occasions (even once fixing my thumbnail for me). But I always wonder why said thumbnails look OK on my computers (all three of them). His butterfly thumbnails look just fine to me. What am I missing here besides better vision?

Great captures. Super sharp. The second image is my favorite. Thanks for sharing.
