I'm looking for a good point and shoot that will fit in a pocket or small bag high megapixel with good telephoto zoom and Good IQ. No interchangeable lenses. For shooting basically street photography landscapes static images. I presently own a D 500 and don't always need to carry a brick with me, I think a bridge and/or 4/3 might be a little too big to carry around.
Canon G7X Mark II. They just released the Mark III, so you could probably pick up the Mark II at a reduced price.
I own the Panasonic Lumix ZS-100 and I really enjoy using this camera. I think that it deserves a look.
Fujifilm X100F (X100V will be released next year). Excellent in all respects for street/travel photography - image quality, color rendering, build quality, creative options - a first class camera.
I recently purchased a Canon sx70 for the same reasons. A little too large for the pocket, shoots raw and has great zoom. Worth a look. I also considered a Nikon B700.
I carry a Sony Cyber RX 100va. Very sharp zeiss lens24-70’ at the wide end ( though changing to 2.8 fairly quickly) lots of menu alternatives including a three stop nd filter, flip out screen, pop up flash etc etc. Highly recommended.

Your best bet on the current market is the Sony HX99V. It is an excellent camera and shoots RAW.
If you have the bucks, the other choice is the new Sony RX100VII, it has "eye AF" and a 24-200 zoom for street photography. Both have pop up viewfinders which I find very helpful.
I recently purchased a used Canon G9 for only $30.00 on Craig's list and even though it's an older model, I have found it to be a great point and shoot with manual and semi-auto controls plus RAW file capture. It's a bit thick for putting in my pocket, but it can be done and is otherwise pretty small overall. My wife liked it so much that I seldom get to use it anymore, but I guess that's life. Anyway, I'm not saying that this is the camera for you, but wanted to point out that you don't need to spend a fortune on a new model to get excellent results and that there are some real deals out there in the used market if you willing to look and possibly do some research. Good luck and good shooting to all.

And there are some great deals out there right now on this.
You might just need a good cell phone instead. I would look into them despite your first instincts to buy another camera and accessories. The trick in life is to travel light & right.
Happy Trails
