I took a photo of this chair that now sets empty. For years I would see the lady next door sit and smoke in it sometimes under an umbrella. She would always wave and speak and was very kind and a great nieghbor. Her grandkids moved in with her a few years ago and has tore her home all apart. So that is when she got her little chair and would smoke outside because the kids didn't want her smoking around the children. I would also see her read books, knit and just sit in solitude and just think. Now it is an empty chair sometimes I can still see her sitting there.
There is a chair for all of us. Thanks for the sentiment.
I like the shot too. Just keep it away from Clint Eastwood!
Nice shot, who knows maybe come January it will have a new owner...LOL
Brings tears to my eyes. :(

you write as well as you shoot. double talent. the story makes the shot but like the look of that chair. worn used heavyily but still going strong.
