If the Russians did in fact make Trump win, how did Hillary get 3 million more votes than Trump? :)

Since the G.O.P. is confined to a state of what seems like permanent vassalage to Trump and his maga supporters, the final development was perhaps the most surprising, and it provided an answer to a question that has been hanging for at least two and half years: Just how far does the President have to go before his supine Party colleagues on Capitol Hill muster the independence to register some semblance of a protest?

Congress, it's time for all to speak out against racism!!

Gosh darn it. You are cheating by bringing up something in the realm of common sense. Liberals can’t handle common sense.

While on the common sense question though, why didn’t Obama do something/anything about the Russians interfering? He knew about it.

Again, many of the above do not cite facts but cite the buzz feed from fox news, fearless leader and his enablers. Specifically list what critics of the administration are saying that are anti-American. Then go back and list the rants from fearless leader from the last four or five years about how terrible things in this country are. Make a venn diagram. Seeking reform and change to spread the blessings of our democracy and its capitalistic system to wider numbers of its citizens (which many right thinking Republican and Democrats want) is not wrong. Are there far left and far right thinkers-yes; one cannot expect less in a free society. I know it sounds pollyanish, but if this political division is not healed soon, we will hand our children a nation that may be beyond saving.

I agree with Carter. Trump is only in office because of the actions of a foreign power (one led by a man who Trump has a bizarre love affair with). That does make him an ILLEGITIMATE president. If you don't see the danger in that, I pity you.

You need to keep up on current events. The mueller investigation found him innocent.
What’s it like to be wrong for two years and counting and Sean Hannity,Rush Limbaugh, me and the rest of us deplorables be right....?

In my post, I erred in lumping all of the AOC squad together as regards their country of origin. AOC and, I guess Pressley are native born. Tlaib is, as well - a fact not ever made really clear, anywhere. Omar is a refugee from Somalia and, given the vitriol she has spewed on Jews, Israel and a load of other targets, I honestly feel that Trump's comment should apply to her. That said, I am reverting to my previous position of not posting anything political on UHH. And, I really wish we all could just leave politics out of our postings. This is a photography site, folks. There is enough of this outside this forum.

"Go back to where you came from" are code words used for generations against Irish immigrants, Jews, African-Americans and now Latinos. Leave my neighborhood, my city or "my" country, like the speaker owns it. In today's world, it is hard to determine where "go back to" really is. IMMIGRATION (yes, there is a problem) has been made the red herring to take focus away from the environment, healthcare, tariffs, automation, infrastructure, and the list goes on. People thought this guy was going to solve it all. Eliminating Roe v Wade, environmental regulations, affordable health care, reliable allies, and the list goes on does not make America great-it sure will not make it Great again. I really don't like that frame of reference because it reflects back to a mythic past that never really existed. Our nation is a work in progress but we have been back tracking in the last three years.

Anyone ever use the stick on uv filters for Lumix point and shoots (see, this is what this forum is supposed to be about).

REALLY??? What name did I call you? Have someone help you read the post and explain it.

It seems you are the one trying to call names. Democrats accuse others of what they themselves are actually doing. Democrats are the greedy, power hungry fascists and it is not a secret, but nice try. Democrats are trying to turn the US into a communist country using the guise of socialism. It will never work.

LOLOL, Congress speak out? They couldn't even name Omar when they passed the first resolution against racism...As for racism, tell that to Omar, Tlaib, Cortez and Pressley...all four are devout and overt racists by their words, actions and deeds. Any yet there's not one racist word President Trump said in his tweet, only the truth about the anti-American squad; he never mentioned skin color, never mentioned race, never mentioned names, only mentioned those that hate America have the opportunity to leave and these four obviously do. The Squad just drove a couple of million voters into the GOP camp with their anti-American rants, bank on it.

Apparently its going to get lot uglier before it gets any better folks, take your seats and get your popcorn
