Great pics - Can you imagine taking that conveyance from Boston to New York? Hope it's comfortable inside!
And that window frame piece is intriguing!

Pat, Here is a barn I passed today and pulled off the side of the road to capture it. My title is"Still Standing"
Taken with a Nikon D800 and my 105 Nikon Micro Nikkor.
I like to capture Old Barns

Glad you captured this one! Nice shot! One old one collapsed here a few years ago. You wonder just how those structures have stood all those years. But they're often still being used, too, up until the end.

Thanks Pat for starting this one off. Nice captures of thrasher there. Here are a couple shot of close up 10x filter that I used. Couldn't believe how thick and heavy it is.

It IS thick! Nice side view!

First use of Canon my 1DX MKii this past week end.

Interesting in the first shot that the Mustang emblem is readable behind the cone. The look and color of the blurred back round has an appealing look, that is much different than the 5D MK4's I am used to using.

It seems the MK4 will capture more detail in the deep blur, but the 1DX MKii has cleaner color, with superior contrast. Both cameras fit specific needs for me, but I am impressed with the accuracy and near perfect image that comes with the 1DX MKii.

Having no buffer to worry about takes time to absorb and if you are used to the crash at about image 13 with the MK 4, the 1DX MKii is such an amazing experience.

You did well with your new toy! Love all the shots - the first two for the motion and the last for the crowd shot - look at all those cameras!

Great series. I remember when that round barn pieces were flown in by helicopter into the museum. Barn was relocated to the museum piece by piece. Paid for my a local person who I did photography for J.Warren McClure. You might have seen the boat Ticonderoga at the Museum. He paid to rebuild that boat.

The photographer who is exposed there does awesome work, his dogs are his faves, PixelStan. Did not know that about the barn, thanks for sharing

I clicked these with permission, did not change anything and yes he was mentioned on the PBS film. Also I visited the shipyard out on Harbor Rd too
