Three Random Photos

Here are 3 unrelated photos from my library that I wanted to share.
1. This photo was taken in Wismar, Germany shortly after a thunderstorm. The color of the freighter was unusual and I thought worthy of a picture. It was while I was framing the picture that I noticed the rainbow in the background. The composition is not perfect but I think it works pretty well. The color match between the boat and rainbow is uncanny.

2. This photo was taken somewhere in northern Europe. While I was selecting images for processing I passed over this picture many times. However, it kind of kept coming back to me and when I connected the larger flower to the face of a grumpy old man, I had my composition. (Think of an old man with a heavy mustache and the faces will pop out for you.) My caption is "Who you call'n a Pansy?"

3. I believe this is a photo from the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. My title for this is "Lost between the lines"

Hope you enjoy

Beautiful shots! I'd call the first one a "cranebow" : )

In the first one, I see the rainbow leading to the pot of gold at McDonald's! 🤓

I enjoyed a Big Mac just yesterday. Must have been some kind of karma just awaiting your comment. Thanks for posting.

All very interesting and different George - I think the old man in the pansies speaks most to me!

All are a pleasure to look at. #3 is provocatively jarring to me--my favorite.

Great photos, all. I can see the old man in the pansy. But I have always seen an angel instead.
