One of my cats, Jackie...
Thought I'd share this photo of my cat Jackie. He's now 4 years old and has a twin brother Barkie. Saw him in my office window, so grabbed my camera and sat next to him to get this shot. I'm also including a snap shot of him when he was just a few days old. He has a sister too all three born under a chair on my front porch by a feral cat. We took her and her babies in the Spring of 2015. So glad we did...they've enriched our lives so much. Thanks for taking the time to look in.

James, he is surely a beauty! They do enrich our lives! I would be lost without my three boys.

What a pretty cat and good for you rescuing a feral litter. We lost our last Abby a month ago, and the house has been so empty - first time in 40 years with no cat. We couldn’t stand the empty house, so on Friday, we are driving 1600 miles round trip to Florida to pick up a 12 week old Abby girl.

They do Carol, I have one that rubs his face against mine every night at bed time, then lays right next to me all night long. The love they bring is priceless. Glad you have yours.

I read about your loss earlier TriX. Wasn't able to post a note for you cause it hurt me as well. I'm really bad with words. I get torn up when I hear about animals passing. We pet owners go thru grief that's just as hard as it is with humans. I have two cats buried in my back yard that I still dearly miss. I have another's ashes in my office. She was special and I wanted to keep her nearby. I'm so glad your house won't be empty for long. Please be careful on your journey and enjoy the trip.

Thank you so much James. Honestly, I think I have grieved more about the passing of my furry friends than my human ones, and if that seems strange, so be it. We have 5 cats and a dog plus canaries and a guinea pig buried in our pet cemetery by the house. Each one is special, and I got a lump in my throat when I read your post about your kitty that rubs your face and sleeps with you - Liddy used to give me a light little cat kiss in the morning if I overslept. I miss her so much, but I’m really excited about a new kitten - they are just so much fun, and each one has a different personality. I think we’re going to call her Lilly, but we want to see her personality first - maybe she’ll be called satan (smile).
Cheers,
Chris

Too cute, James. Gorgeous shots.
Fantastic, James. They make incredibly good roommates.

purry addition to the family now. lol
Lovely cat, James. We, too, have black litter-mates. They're shelter rescues; part of a litter of 5. They, too, have gold/copper eyes. We have a female, Sybl, and a male, Sinbad, very loving.
