Nice. Older than I. We both looking good. Lol.
Nice shot ... beautiful car.
One of my all time favorites of the Ford lineup, a very nice "at speed" pan!
Great shot of a cool car. Some mods done, I see trac-bars on that one.
In my era, 1950s, that was one of the most desired cars for the hot rod set. If you had money a Chrysler hemi, big wide valve covers sticking out the side, 4 speed and if you had real money, Halibrand quick change rear and a 6/71 blower sitting on top. Otherwise a 283, 3 duces, 4 speed and be very careful of the drive train. Oh a raised rear end larger rims and rear tires in back, smaller in front to get that California rake.
Excellent capture of the car and many memories, KT.
My oldest brother will be 80 next week. In 1958 he had a '40 Ford pickup with a Hemi, six deuces, metallic blue paint, rolled and pleated metallic blue seats etc.
That was a fun truck for a bunch of youngsters living in a town of less than 100,000.
I was four years young than brother James; but he never minded giving me a ride to school.
Great memories. But I don't think any of us have a photo of that truck.
Great picture. I thought the grill indicated it was a 1939.

I have always like this model ford. Had chance to buy one in 1967 with a 289 in it for 500.00. That was like a few thousand for a poor airman.

I bet it could even do a mile a minute. Fast when I was young.
I used to own one, only mine was grey. The car pictured is what they called a business coupe.
