The Angry Photographer on YouTube produced a 600 MP jpeg with it. Who the heck wants a 600 MP jpeg??

There are those who would complain if it were as big as a point and shoot of the’90’s and had a 9mm to 6000mm zoom lens, shot 500 megapixels and had shutter speeds from two hours to 1/50000 th a second at 700 FPS.
It will make it on its own merits or not. This forum is not Facebook!
Pushing the “envelope” is good. If I could get an inexpensive camera (no matter the format) that produced sharp images
I might buy it.

Would that be the one with the ISO from 5 to 2 Trillion, with no image loss?

Anyone buying this camera already has other cameras and most likely many,
So the limitations this camera may have is a non issue!
Can’t wait to get mine.

Or, buy a brand new D850 with the "Holy Trinity" of 2.8 lenses from 14-200mm, shoot with far more versatility and creativity with only marginal, if that, improvement in final image, and write each of your kids a check for the difference you've saved...

The thing is that I got a pair of 800e and a bunch of lenses including the holy. I have always liked medium and large format. And I have been waiting for a camera like this for an long time.

Judging by the exuberance of your post, your not ready for a medium format camera but then again, if you consider $10,000 cheap for a camera...be my guest.

The sensor isn't all that much bigger than 24x36mm format.

Its inexspensive compared to other medium format digital cameras as stated in other posts. Ive been shooting medium and large format for over 20 years. Its time to go digital. Thanks for your approval.

Great point for some of us, like the concept of the "weakest link". Sure, my pictures might be better with a FF or MF camera, but a 24MP DX serves me very well for learning new skills like PP software and where best to have prints made, things I did not carry with me from film. When I am happy enough with my PP skills, computer setup, etc. I will likely upgrade to a camera with the potential for greater IQ. A Fujifilm MF is certainly on the list of candidates, if not the D850, Z6, or similar FF.

I have a Nikon d500 and love it love it love it, it is a nice change when I get tired of the critical d850 which I also love, but I still want a medium format.

Only ONE solution for that my friend: BUY ONE! (Don't worry, you're young. It's called GAS and it's what drives the world! Best of luck.
