EDIT: I need to clarify something here. I did not find this in the General Topics section, I meant the Main Photography Section. My bad. The thread I started with the shot of the smoky conditions here was in the Main Photography Section, as well, before it got moved.
Sigh, oh well, there are far worse things to waste energy on.

Very good shot, Bruce. I had a 10" Meade, gave to my son, the damn thing was to heavy for me to carry with tri-pod, that was 10 years ago, today it would be impossible for me to carry.

Thanks Earnest for the comment... I know what you mean about too heavy... the scope and ring collar aren't too heavy but the tripod mount is a *back breaker (*I didn't use the other B--- word for sensitivity purposes)... I hope I didn't say something tongue-in-cheek and end up with foot in mouth... wouldn't be the first or last time!!!

Thanks Flyerace... I hope to get the scope out again some day... I hope soon but so many other things to do first, my better half says... cleaning the basement out... 20 years of good junk going to the GoodWill down the road... some stuff brand new and unopened... will make some GoodWill shopper happy...!!!
