This morning I got up at the crack of dawn and scooted down to Titlow Park in Tacoma to catch the sunrise on the Narrows Bridge, and I wasn't disappointed. However, I couldn't help myself to explore a conversion to b&w. Granted, the morning glow is gone, but replaced with a wonderful b&w contrast. I know that 9.9% will prefer the colored shot, and frankly, I would agree. Comments are always welcome. Ken

I agree, the color version looks better to me. There is not enough contrasts in this image to make it a good B&W conversion. JMHO.

Definitely color! Beautiful!
Color is my pick for sure. I remember that bridge a lot as my sister lived just above the bridge many years ago. Great image. Thanks for sharing.

I am a lover of B&W so I pick the B&W. It has all the tones of a good B&W photo.
Nice shot Ken. Definitely like the first one best. Love getting out early and seeing the light and sounds change around me. Nicely done.

Thank you all for the nice compliments. After taking a second look at the b&w, I can see some improvements to be had and will be working with the software to see what can be found and tweaked. Ken
