It truly is sad. People walk around like zombies. Cross streets without looking. In fact walk and drive with more interest in the "screen" than actual surroundings. And the saddest part is that it will ONLY get worse.

There was an article about a study done somewhere showing that young people are developing bone growths on the back of their skulls because they always have their heads tilted down. Let's see if we hear more about that. This sounds like nonsense.

I once saw a comic strip for a Thanksgiving meal where the whole family, including the baby in a high chair was on a cell phone. This was before the smart phones/texting. If it weren't so sad it would be funny.
