The body with 18-55 and 55-250 for $700. Lowest I've seen. Their site list the body alone for $720.

It's best to list the site you are referring to. It could be a bait and switch and amount to $700 in frustration and at that price, it probably is.

My bad. It is the canon site. Google Canon refurbished DSLR.
It is fairly common for the Canon Store to sell refurb bundles cheaper than the body alone.
I speculate that it is to unload refurb lenses that are overstocked and don't sell all that well on their own.
I have had excellent luck buying Canon refurbished products, including one bundle. The price was so low on the bundle, I got it even though I only wanted the camera. I sold the lens, making the camera even less expensive. All of the refurbished items I have bought from them have been like new and come with a one year warranty. I haven't really priced out that particular combo, but if it seems like a good deal to you, I would go for it.

Done that b4. Also bought refurbs from Canon, the latest being a 70-300 IS ll. Never had any issues. I may get this bundle and sell the 55-250 STM. This would be my 3rd 55-250.

That's a good deal on the camera with two lenses... similar kit, new, at a top retailer is about $1100.
Canon doesn't normally bundle the 80D with those two lenses.
They usually offer the 80D with the EF-S 18-135mm IS USM lens, or a "downgrade" version with the EF-S 18-55mm STM.
The USM lens is faster focusing, as well as a more versatile range of focal lengths in one lens and a bit better built. But there isn't nearly as favorable pricing on the 80D in kit with the 18-135mm lens.
Those two STM lenses are quite capable and better than earlier versions, just a bit plasticky. They even use a plastic bayonet mount.
Still, 80D with the 18-55 STM and 55-250 STM for $700.... that's a lot of camera and lenses for the money!
My friend Bob purchased one of those from Canon and it worked fine. It was like new with warranty. I could find nothing wrong with it.
Refurbished works for me, 95% of my L glass is from Canon Refurbished. You couldn't tell refurbished from brand new, same warranty included. If you can save some $$$$$ and you are purchasing what you want, go for it. Good luck too, enjoy.
