Beautiful. Depth. Depth. More depth. And sharp, I'd say perfect exposure. That's what I think. Europe somewhere?
Thanks.

Another fine photo to make a puzzle with.

Thanks for the reply. Inner Harbor in Copenhagen. I had this printed in large format on metal and have it hanging in my living room.

Very nice. There are some luxurious details could be hiding in the shadows. The highlights are close to spot on. Things seem to be leaning a bit to the right.

Very nice photo. Lots of great detail. I really like the composition, too.

Its a very nice shot. Good color, good contrast and excellent sharpness. However, it is tilted to the right almost exactly 2.5 degrees. While some may prefer it that way, I took the liberty of straightening it out, which also cropped a bit more of the image. If you cropped a lot from the original you might want to readdress it to fix the tilt prior to the crop. I've also attached your image as you posted it for comparison. Download and you will notice the image edge now aligns almost perfectly with the windows and building edges across the image. The masts are now much straighter as well.

You are correct. Its tilted to the right by almost exactly 2.5 degrees off vertical.

On the 11th house front from the right, between two poles, there seems to be something hanging from a window, which of course, ruins the whole shot. (This comment is made as a JOKE, just a weak attempt at a humorous pulling-of-the- leg of those who often seem to me to be going too far in finding fault.) The work is, of course, an extraordinarily fine photograph, for all the reasons previously expressed.

I agree.... Great shot of a neat scene... well captured with lots of wonderful color.

Except it's crooked!

In the original the buildings are "falling over backward" and the water is impossibly "tilted".

There are times when images can be deliberately skewed "for effect".... but when there's water in the scene, that usually doesn't work.

It would have been super easy to fix during cropping. Vertical lines in an image can be used as a guide, where there's no horizon line for reference. I'd go by the verticals of the buildings toward the center of this image, in particular, because those at either end of the row have slight wide angle perspective distortion (this could also be corrected during cropping, though in this case it's so minor I probably wouldn't).

Agree. Not sure if you saw my 2.5 degree adjustment of his original above on this page. The perspective distortion shift from left to right is actually very minor in this image.

No one is going too far to find fault. The OP asked us for our opinions. Everyone agrees its a very good image, but it is far from vertically straight. That could have been easily corrected by the OP when he cropped it before printing it at a large size on metal. If all he wanted was praise he should not have asked us what we thought.

I was not referring to the critiques of this particular photo, as can be noted by the fact that the "fault-finding" comments were posted after mine. Right now, I'm sorry I posted what I did -- just trying to be funny I guess. Can't find a way to kill it, so I guess I'm stuck with it. My apologies.
