Took the Sony RX10 to the Belmont Stakes to experiment with motion blur and routine racing shots. The 600mm comes in handy from the stands. The Airforce provided some entertainment between races before the Belmont Stakes Race was run.

If you had bet on a horse, that No. 2 shot would probably give you a Heart Attack ! Great Exposures !!!

3 & 4 sure look like the US Army Parachute Team Golden Knights.

I let my wife do the betting, I take the photos. She's also much luckier than me!

You are probably correct; the announcement of their show wasn't very clear. Actually, there were three parachuters. Landed right on target too.

I like #1, #2 is a little too much for me. And yes, that's army colors on the jumpers.

Thanks for viewing!

I agree, The RX10 is a good action shooter. A little confusing menu arrangement but it gets easier each time I use it.

Thanks for viewing. #1 is my favorite also. I've ordered some neutral density filters to better handle this kind of manipulation.

Great set of shots. And glad to hear all the favorable comments on the RX10 since I was planning on buying on today.

Thanks for commenting.

It's a great camera. Especially for travel, 24 - 600mm lens covers just about everything. Unfortunately, like most Sony cameras, the battery life isn't great. I'd strongly recommend purchasing a backup battery or two.
