Your contributions are always very stunning! I am curious of the context/location of the birds and animals that you photograph. Are there preserves, refuges or sanctuaries in India similar to North America? Are the photos results of safaris or other sorts of opportunities? I really admire your photography!

These are all lovely. I too really like the flamingo shot, colors are wonderful. Getting good shots of multiple birds is tough and you did pretty well here. My only complaint, I wish the middle birds head was not overlapping the bird in the rear. The overlap of the front birds wing doesn't bother me a bit. Otherwise, a great presentation of some really beautiful birds and all done very well. Thanks for sharing.

Just lovely. India must have a concentration of the most beautifully colored birds in the world.

Thank you Dirk, most all the birds are photographed in the wild, not in sanctuaries. A lot of my photography centers around waterholes and forest clearings. It is a game of patience sometimes, I will wait around for a few hours for something to turn up. Other times I might see them out the car while driving and I will pull over and get my images. My carry around kit is the D850 with the 300 f4E and TC 1.4E III attached. I like it because it covers a huge angle of view from 420mm at Full Frame to 630mm at a DX crop. I prefer cropping in camera, so this suits me well.

Thank you. Yes, India is a photographers delight. Whether it be birds or wildlife, macros or landscapes, people, villages, culture, flora, street et al.

I have a dear friend that recently returned from an African safari and he commented about the beautiful birds there. I told him to follow your postings if you want to see beautiful birds. Your captures are outstanding as usual. Keep them coming as we all enjoy them immensely.
