Research cloning to remove the telephone wire through sky. Very distracting.

Really nice shot. I agree, that w/o the wire it would be sweet. She didn't even twitch a whisker.

Now thats why I keep putting things on the Hog. Of course the wires were a distraction, but I didn't see it until it was pointed out. Many thanks, 2 minutes of cloning and we now have a wirefree version.

Super HDR and I like the touch to Topaz it would be interesting to see what topaz has done.

Excellent example of HDR that is not overcooked. Perhaps the composition would be improved if about an 1/8th was cropped off the bottom. Well done.

Fantastic hdr!!! The cat and the bird on the roof peak are nice as they co-operated. And I agree with Stevieboy, maybe a touch better composure cropping out the light area at bottom. Good job.

Ahhh I am so glad you picked up on this (and Gpappy too) I have been puzzling over this pic for months. (literally) There is no question that there is too much white on the bottom and that what should be the focus point (the cat's eyes) is too high in the frame. I have tried cropping the bottom as you suggested several times and it doesn't help because the bar on the bottom right ends up cutting the pic, isolating the bottom rose and the dimensions of the pic don't feel right. I have distorted the pic after cropping to reduce the width but it still doesn't feel right. I have even layered the colour of the top of the wall onto the white section but that didn't resolve the framing issue. So I have come to the conclusion, and the fact that you picked up on it confirms it, that its probably not fixable, sometimes that's just the way it is. Though I suppose the only real solution is a reshoot. Now if only I can arrange for the cat and the bird to cooperate then it just might work. Many thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate it.

Peter
