Not many have gone to the texture of food in this challenge. There is so much there. The visual texture of the way the food is presented. The mouth-feel (texture) of each different bit. The olfactory contribution to the texture of the food, and not to be forgotten, the texture of the relationship/companionship with one's dining partner(s) and the texture of the "place" you are in at the time.
Here a just a few of the more interesting plates I've had the pleasure of sitting in front of.

After seeing creatly simon and roxiemarty entries I went and found the ones I took this past week of the same plant and worked on them so here is my take of the plant.
