On the appropriate use of Emojis ...

Just got the idea, from reading another post - the addition of an Emoji in a comment implies one's joking!!
I don't know about you guys - but, I tend to use one or the other on virtually EVERY comment I make!
I'd hate to think - everyone thinks I'm joking, all the time, if I just add one to provide some lightness, etc.
Would really like to hear back from as many folks as I can. What are your feelings on this?
BTW - latest count shows there to be 26 - of which, only a couple - underline one might be teasing.
The others are for fun - just to lighten up comments. But some, have another take. What do YOU think?
If I was joking, I'd use
and/or
.
Maybe
, depending on what I wrote.

That one with the eyes blinking, Bill … I use when I make a comment which points out a doubtful promise.
It's not intended (by me) to prove I'm joking …
See - that's what I mean … we all need to get together on the intended use of these things …
OR - not use them, at all, Bill …

And, this would mean, 101 - that you don't like the Topic Post???
This is not photography related, it is nothing but chit chat. No joke.

In a sense, it IS, Bill … as Paul made a comment in which he stated the EMOJI use - represented a joke!
Since I often use them in my comments here in THESE posts, I became affronted, and decided it would be appropriate to hash it out, here …

But it's regarding the photography forum.....
Yea, should probably be in general chit-chat.

There's nothing to hash out. Google will find all the meaning for you. Start at Google.com.

Designed by the Japanese who it seems have a really weird sense of enjoyment.I Don't think there is 'an appropriate' use....But as they are appearing everywhere and people love to 'belong in the herd' why not use them as you feel fit.
There are people who 'judge you' by scouring your online 'presence'. From Banks to Employers etc. to see if you are a 'desirably Asset'. Perhaps emoji's may put you on one side of their line or not. But probably your 'presence' decides most.
Have Fun

How could GOOGLE possibly enter into the equation?
