Here are 2 examples. I didn't want to redo the above images but selected another one...
Very dramatic difference in a long distance shot.

first one.. Saved raw image as taken
second one.. dehaze slider only PP done.

Huge difference especially on these landscape shots

Always pleasant to see any images of Utah national parks. I would go back to Canyonlands with no hesitation. The dehaze slider works wonders for me. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! Dramatic difference! If I can't find such a facility in one of the later versions of PSE, I may have to bite the monthly fee bullet.

Top photo is Colorado River from Dead Horse State Park in Utah

Second is Green river from Canyonlands National Park.

Dehaze helped to keep the background in the photo.

Very nice.
Love that part of Utah.

The size & scale of the 1st image is the one that gets me. What a place to be on the earth.

Re: the first image; the river is as brown as mud and can be as green as grass given the time of year. Great images. And, yes, the dehaze function does do wonders.

Use dehaze in PSE fairly frequently. It is great for converting an overcast sky to one with just a lot of clouds. You can always select just the sky if there is nothing to fix in the foreground.

👍 Steve! I have almost the same exact Green River pic on my wall from our trip last year. I'll have to look, but Dehaze is one of my most tried sliders so I'm sure I must have used it, too.

Dehaze has a tendency to darken the shadow areas so you may have to brighten them a bit. One of my favorite tools.
