Fifi, one of only two B-29โs still flying circled our area all day yesterday lumbering casually at a few thousand feet. I finally caught it but only w my iPhone 7+. An awesome sight.
What a thrill, ๐๐๐
Hope it wasn't on a mission! Great shot!
Nice work with just an iPhone.
Bunch of years ago Fifi paid a visit to little Ithaca, New York's airport. Seeing her land, getting up close on the ground, and taking off/buzzing the airport was one of the most outrageous experiences I've ever had. The sound of those engines firing up one-at-a-time, revving up and pulling her into the sky was incredible.

I was able to fly with my two brothers a few years back in Aluminum Overcast, the B-17 operated by EAA.
In 2017 we flew in the Trimotor Ford.
Our eldest brother passed away last year.
Great memories!

It might be on it's way here. Our Planes of Fame airshow is this weekend. Can't wait.

Sheโs based at Meacham Airport in Ft Worth, about 20 miles from where I live.
Noticed she had nose gear down on some of the passes yesterday.

Looks like it might have been a toasty day.
