Miscellany - Along about 1979 or so we have some Plux-X film running through my camera. A couple of lasses at The Beach ( where else
). When I say beach I mean heavily-populated public beach. Now we see a pair of photos I just now scanned from my collection. The first is a college-age daughter of a friend who suggested that I take said daughter to the beach with the idea in mind of photographing her at the beach. Worked out well and here we see one of the shots. She came up with the pose; I think it rather beautiful. Second photo is that of a lass who visits the beach a lot and she posed on a log that had washed up on the beach. Kind of fun shot.
Where are you located? Australia? I love all the girls on the beach you have shown us. A couple of them look like my first ex wife.
Stunning models and great images. I especially like the one with the driftwood.

I can't help thinking that most of your congratulators also have a touch of envy... so congrats from me for your fine work ;-).
I like them both; the second is excellent.
The shot with the driftwood is one of the best poses I have seen. Simple and beautiful.
I love the second one, the light is superb.
Your work is/was spectacular! I know I will be flamed for saying it, but nothing beats black and white film!

Both are very appealing. I like the juxtaposition of skin vs. the natural texture of the surroundings. #2 would benefit more from this contrast without the article of clothing.
#2 looks contrasty because it was, seriously. Looking at the film it appears that it was horribly over-developed, probably as a result of poor temperature control. I had to do some significant "slope" ( histogram ) operation in an attempt to recover the image.
Great examples of some of your best works. Curious if the parent had nude shots in mind when suggested using daughter as a model at the beach?
Yes, it was a given. We were buddies, rather family-like.
Great images Jim. #2 really stands out, simple yet attention grabbing.
