I'm curious if anyone has any Kindle (or other ereader) books related to photography, that they particularly recommend.

I love my first gen Kindle but made the mistake of reading one book with lots of charts and exhibits on it. Had to delete the thing. Couldn't read it.
If you get a Kindle app for your computer and read the books on your computer, you will be able to see the photos and exhibits well, I presume.
Main benefit of the Kindle is if your hands tire or have problems with heavy books OR you travel a lot. You can put dozens of books on one Kindle while traveling.
I have several books on PSE10 and Lightroom as well as my camera manual. Worthless on Kindle. Get the app for your computer I know they make one for the Ipad.

I use a kindle and iPad 3 I bought Bryan petersons understanding exposure
Agreat read but it has many colour pics to demonstrate his ideas, the kindle is only in black an white, the kindle let me down here,I usually love it for text only books, it's so light and easy to read,
I have many aps for iPad for photography and astronomy and the kindle sits forlorn .

Lucky for me, I'm using a Kindle Fire. So the color is no problem for me.

Nook Color presents the colored pictures but I find the screen too small to adequately present a lot of the information displays (text, charts, images, etc.) Also, found that with a book there are a number of times that an image is on one page with the explanatory info on the next and they can be seen side-by-side - Nook cannot do that. Computer is better but, in my opinion, not much

ok then lucky you they don't and won't sell them in new Zealand
Bryan Peterson writes many books as I said I bought understanding exposure and I learned a lot so much so that I also bought his understanding shutterspeed, only to find it was 50 percent a repeat of understanding exposure so probably won't buy any more of his books

I have a nook, just go to your local B&N and read part of the book your considering on the Nook, if you like it you can buy, you get an hour a day free reading, Bob

Understood. However, I was asking about the ereaders, just because that's what I typically take with me (a little more portable than a laptop). Plus, if there are photography related ebooks, I can also use the free kindle app to pull it onto my computer if I'm home.
I just wanted to find out about any good ebooks that have photographic content and are recommended by people here who've actually read them.

Just finished Bryan Peterson, Learning to See Creatively on my Kindle Fire. Clear and appears bigger than in print.

I have an old Kindle ereader. Great for the printed page. If you need pictures you
should consider a larger, color format. I still like books for study and chess lessons. Kindle is a PIA when you have to go back and forth to look up stuff, but
good when you read straight thru.

The only paper book I have purchased since I had my Nook was Kelby's elements 9. I like to have the book open next to the keyboard/mouse. I downloaded a sample to my Nook and although I could read it, it was no substitute for the real thing.

I never read a photography book front to back. I like to skip around and go back and forth. To hard to do in a ebook so I stay with print.

I can't carry around a dozen or half dozen books with me everywhere, but I can stick the Kindle Fire in my camera bag.
So my question is, for those of you that have ereaders, are there any particular books you've gotten that you have had good experience with and recommend.
I know there are lots of books out there available for the Kindle. Since I can't buy them all, my question is to find out which ones people recommend.
