The Pentax remote I have was only about 20-25 dollars canadain
I swear, when I got this K10d, my second Pentax digital body, I checked on remotes and the "radio" Pentax quoted was in the neighborhood of $100. That's a lot more than the cable releases I discarded when I transitioned to digital many years ago. Is the Pentax remote Universal?
Incidently, note to Angler: Just for the hell of it I clicked on the Sigma ad attached to this thread. Think I'll stick with my Tamron 70/300. It's been a while since I "needed" a new lens. Looks like I'll make do! Wait until Obama puts a chicken in every pot!

Wonderful results with that lens -- very sharp, great color! Makes me wish more and more that they made this lens to fit my Olympus camera.

Ok sorry I was out a bit just saw one at Henry's online ( they are in Toronto) and it was 49.00 canadain But I find them expensive anytime. On line I deal with GalaxyCamera in Ottawa, because of warrenty issues. ie Pentax bodys and lens at least 2 years in Canada, only 1 if I buy from states

Hi Angler, these shots are sharp as usual, so may Bee you need to shoot something different, cause I think you have trained this bee to pose for you. Ha Ha

Angler and anyone else listening in: Only difference between Brit Bees and Texas Bees is size. These fellers were about the size of a Mini. I was about to get a racing stripe painted down its back but it broke the rope. Second one damn near carried off 4# Lilly the Wonder Dog.
