I enjoyed the record of Joe with Ella Fitzgerald-
just the two of them, no band.

Yes, I also saw it. Among my favorite discs of Joe are his Virtuoso albums.

Mark,
A couple of my favourite albums were by Larry Coryell and Philip Catherine
playing acoustic guitar together.
One was called "Splendid"; another was called "Twin House".
On a few of the tracks they have someone playing fretless bass.

You name provokes many good memories for me. When I was 14, frosh in HS, a few of us formed a small dance band. The trombone player was Bob (Robert) Bailey.
Thanks,
Mark

I play guitar and bass guitar, but not trombone-
I do, however, enjoy trombone music!
