I've been noticing more of the Green Anoles this year instead of the brown invaders. We've been over run with a rough looking brown lizard which seems to compete with our "normal" greens. Managed to get up close, hand held with my Nikon D500, 100mm Tokina macro, f8, 1/400th, ISO500. He wouldn't let me get a tripod set up for his closeup.
Great! The browns are invaders. Go Green!

Ha. I used your sizing guide and actually have it marked for easy reference. 😎
I love its colors, nice photo!

I know. I just saw green until I got really close & then a little minor pixel peeping. If it would hold still I would really like to do a focus stack.
Looks a little like the Geico gecko. Nice pic...
These little guys are always fun to see on my porch screen at night.
Good shot. We have these guys in abundance in East Texas during the summer. It's still a little early for
them to show up this year. I have tried to capture a photo many times but they don't co-operate. LOL
I've wondered how to pronounce anole?

I got in pretty tight on this one & as long as I didn't make abrupt movements he was content to let me shoot.
