I have been doing SLR since high school, but not to the degree of the top of the class, "I live to shoot guy." Love looking at his photos, results and admire his patience but, I just love to shoot! Zeroing in on the subjects, composing and capturing the moment...sometimes that's enough...I don't get around to viewing the pics for days sometimes. I live close to a State Park and have a great niece and nephew who are at the great candid shots stage. I love to travel and hike, watching for the shots as I inhale the experience. I use my photos as inspiration for paintings. I have also done some stock photography.
I Put the settings on auto for the past two years as we recovered and rebuilt from a house fire and the next year breast cancer. I did many iphone and Ipad photos for FB during this time. Now I am ready to get back to P, Tv, Av, etc. and the quality we can see as photographers. I would love a new camera but will have to do with my 2005 Canon, Powershot pro 1, 8mp. I Still love my first Pentex 1000 and Yashica twin lens, as decor, but love the convenience and instant million photos I get from digital. I can crop and fix to my delight now! I have been very inspired by the photos on the site.
Hedgehog was recommended by a fellow Art Guild member & photographer. I plan to enter the photo contests and be challenged by the subject! Will be anxious to hear feedback, tips and pointers! So glad you all are gentle and humorous with your comments! Alas, the ones I have posted are just Ipad. I will get others on soon.
I'm a good girl from the sixties, my parents wouldn't let me be a hippie but I wanted to be!
Southern IN has beautiful rolling mounds and gorgeous Autumn! I love color!
I love red! This was at a castle in Germany last fall while I was visiting my daughter and fam.
#2 is very crisp I love it. You can feel how cold it is.
Like your iPad pics. Welcome to the Hog.
Thanks! I've been reviewing everything on my Canon....ready to click off auto.
