I like the third picture I am not sure why but it is nice .... as a wood worker maybe it would make a nice piece of wood for a box.... nice work!

Thank you both.

My in-camera framing is still a work in progress. The wood pic is cropped quite a bit. Partly it is old age and arthritis -- easier to crop on a computer screen than crawl around in the snow, lol.

Btw, I assume the wood color is the yellow of sulphur.

Nice work. I also like the wood, but don't think there would be much to carve. Might look nice used as a stand under a glass table top. Definitely a conversation piece.

Thanks,, I'm glad you like the shot.
This is call Grand Prismatic Spring, the largest hot spring
in Yellowstone,, the colors are pretty neat..
