Hi!
I am seriously looking for a pocket sized digital camera with better features than the discount store point and shoot. I want quick shutter speed(frustrates me when the subject has moved before my camera gets the shot!)
I want decent low-light and inside settings.
I want good zoom and close-up as I like to take pictures of birds.
I cannot handle a larger DSLR, I need something small--purse size.
I have looked at the Canon S100. Any other suggestions?

Recently purchased a Sony DSC-HX7V, it is a 16.2 megapixel camera with just about all the features one could want. It is in the $300.00 range. There are more compact cameras out there
but not with as many features which includes a nice zoom. So far I am more than satisfied. I especially like the sweep panoramic feature. Since I purchased my camera 2 months ago I have seen the price drop even lower.

i like my nikon s9100. 18x zoom and 12 mp. it cost less than $280.00 at walmart and a 30 day moneyback return

Cannon ELPH 300, will fit in a shirt pocket or you can
buy a carry case that will fit on a belt. take great pics.
