I am in the market for a TTL Wireless Flash trigger for my Pentax K-x/Sigma EF-610 DG Super Flash and the Yongnuo YN-622 or RF603 caught my eye. However, altho these are advertised for Nikon and Canon, there is no mention of Pentax compatablility. A search on the internet revealed a single mention that the Pentax hotshoe pin configuration is the same as that on the Nikon, therefore the Nikon version of these triggers should work with Pentax. Obviously I am loath to risk it on the strength of a single mention, so I was wondering if any member has experience with the Pentax/Yongnuo combination they could pass on. Thanks

Dosn't Amazon have a favorable return policy?
See if you can e-mail Younguo and get an answer. I'd Google "contact Younguo."
Bob, I am glad I am not the only one that feels like the proverbial redheaded stepchild. It's not only hard to find anything about compatibility, it's hard to even find much info on the Pentax K-x on there website or forum. I shot Pentax 35's for several years, along with a GAF - les model which was an great camera. I had several lenses for them, none of which are compatible without an adapter ring, which I have read can be very finicky. I now find myself wishing I had went Nikon instead.
Before I posted the query I had emailed Yongnuo for info.. They have now confirmed what I already knew, that they don't make Pentax versions of their TTL triggers because they don't have the plans. They also failed to answer the question as to whether or not the Nikon ones are compatable... So I'm left with no alternative but to continue on with the bog standard non-TTL triggers and manual control of the off-camera flash. Kegler... I've always been a Pentax man, but like you, since I went digital I wish I'd gone Nikon or Canon then. Too late now I'm afraid...
check into the cactus v5 triggers..I believe they are available for the pentax. I have a half dozen for my canon setup and they work great.
jimberton... Aren't the cactus v5 triggers just standard triggers ie not TTL. I've already got two sets of those sort and they work perfectly... It was specifically TTL triggers I wanted
