My wife and I are going on a Mediterranean cruise this summer. I hear there is a lot of pick pockets and thieves in these countries. I looking to find the best camera strap that is cut resistant. I have been looking online, but I'm looking for peoples input as to which one is best.

A great question. I searched for the best in-field strap I could find after years of being frustrated by terrible straps or ones with LOGOS that screamed "take me".
In Alaska. In a great camera store I found a strap made for "National Geographic".
It is a heavy, beige canvas material, has an attached pouch for extra cards, and wonderful rubbery strips on the shoulder (so the strap stays put).
It was not expensive. It does not scream the camera maker's name, it is rugged, and it is comfortable.
I hope this helps.

I have a current thread running where I am reviewing Double camera straps. One is the "Safe and "fast" strap. This is not my favorite strap by any means, but it does have the safety wire, anti-cut feature. At the price, buying one and splitting it into two single straps is quite feasible. It may even be better suited for that than for a double strap. Plus you would have another one to share!

Is this the one you are referring to? http://www.amazon.com/National-Geographic-NG-3030-Adventure/dp/B001E4E53Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1361119142&sr=8-1&keywords=national+geographic+strap

Sun Sniper makes straps with an anti-theft wire running through it. Might be worth checking out.

Sun Sniper is one of the Re-Brands of the same strap I am reviewing at the moment. They actually make nothing, but buy re-branded items and sell them as their own. Look at their logo and the logo of this "Safe and Fast" brand:

Interesting, I didn't know that. I assume Sun Sniper charges a premium for the privilege of putting a new logo on it. I'm not in the market for a new strap, though, so I haven't researched pricing lately.
