Just got the Nikon D800. I'm trying to change the setting so that after I take a shot it displays on the lcd. I know there is a simple setting change but I can't seem to find it. Help!

Is there a way to reset the shot count in folders back to zero with the d800. I know you could do it with the d600.
Thanks

What's amazing is how difficult it can be to get info out of that little white book.

Thanks for your help. I agree that it does seem a bit overwhelming to work through the manual. I appreciate the knowledge that's out there on UHH. I'll be back asking more questions. I am very excited to have this amazing camera.

It IS amazing!
The latest favorite feature, which I found last weekend, is the very usable "unlisted" high ISO. I got shots I hadn't even considered with other cameras.

By unlisted do you mean the H levels?

My "little white book" is a 200+ page manual in a three ring binder and the only use I've found for it is as a paperweight or door-stop. I'd love one of those trifold quickie-charts.

I always download the PDF manual from the Nikon Website. So much easier getting around it when it's on my computer screen and I can increase the type size to help my failing eyesight. The cameras manual is not something you should read just once. Of course when I travel I pack the "little white book"
