Dusted the 70-300mm off for Bird Season

Long time no see on this side of the forum. Dusted the nikon 70-300mm and took a run out to one of the rookeries I found last year. No action at the first site, the 2nd site was starting to get under way. A good amount of birds, but only a handful had their full breeding color. A lot of standing around the nest and not actually setting on the nest. I was a little rusty but glad to have a day with the birds

OMG...they are just jaw dropping gorgeous!!!!!! Left me speechless when I first opened this post...they are absolutely stunning!!!!!!!!!!!
