Hello all,

I am from Maryland and currently live in Boston. I fell in love with my 110 camera. I had more picturs of my thumb and the top of peoples heads than you can imagine. Later I took some b&w's of old train cars in Canada with a 35 mm. That was it the bug slammed me and I had to take pictures all of the time.

Here is my favorite pic

For having such an eye for photography you certainly should get better equipment. I save up to get what t I think I need and look for a bargain. People who upgrade often sell their equipment and I have lucked out with a few. Check them out...110 is limited to an extent ...I think.

No now I use a canon 35mm. I want a better one but I don't understand the process or the needs. I know I love to shot stills with depth and shadows. After that I have no idea where to go.. any advice ?

Your budget pretty much determines what you are able to buy. There are many camera systems out there and the best way to determine which is right for you is to visit a good camera shop with knowledgeable people. Discuss with the shop the kind of photographer you are and they will most likely direct you to a system that will work for you. Cameras can also be rented ...find out what feels comfortable and meets your needs and go for it. Good luck ! ...in any case keep on shooting no matter what you have.
