Enlarge photos like the pic of the dog? Can't seem to download Gimp because I have a Mac.

I did. Thank you so much. Do you know of any software that can do this for Mac?

Most any photo 'editing' software should allow you to crop, copy the crop, and then SAVE AS a new file. Not knowing anything about MAC, I can't give specific advice or procedures.

Photoshop elements or Photoshop CS5 (or later) will do it. Neither are free however, elements is the cheaper of the two.

iPhoto will do it if you zoom in and then crop it.

Don't have Elements six,I have 8, but it is probably the same. Just use the crop tool then set the image size with resolution that works for you. In 8 you find the image size under image in the top runner then - resize. You can set the size and resolution there. Hope this helps.

I was able to enlarge your original to 5000x3447 and crop it to a larger one. Saved it as a jpg. No problem with it using Irfanview.

enlarged the dog with Irfanview and copied the dog part with capturewiz pro.

I guess I should add, as much as I would like to have Photoshop it is just too expensive. I have had Irfanview for many years and capture wiz pro. Irfanview is free and capwiz is $19. within my means.
Also I have Gimp and was able to open the gimp file. I need to look into using that.

Wow! I don't know who did a better job, the photographer or the editor! Wonderful job, thank you so much for doing this. You can really see the detail the bigger the pic gets. Can you resend so I can download?
